Rebellion of the Alpujarras

The first rebellion of the Alpujarras of 1499–1501 (Arabic: ثورة البشرات الأولى) was a series of uprisings by the Muslim population of the Kingdom of Granada, Crown of Castile (formerly, the Emirate of Granada) against their Catholic rulers.
