Anglo-Nepalese War
The Anglo-Nepalese War (1 November 1814 – 4 March 1816), also known as the Anglo-Gorkha War, was a major military conflict fought between the Kingdom of Nepal and the East India Company (EIC). The war was the culmination of decades of geopolitical friction as two expanding powers clashed along an ill-defined 1,500-kilometer frontier.
